Kentia Palm is a medium to slow growing palm with a small dimeter stem lined with old leaf scars. Very tolerant of almost any growing conditions that is why the Kentia palm makes a great houseplant, in warmer climates it can be grown outdoors in lawns or planters. Prefers fertile well-drained soil in full-sun. Somewhat drought tolerant, slow release palm fertilizer will increase the rate of growth. aka: Thatched Leaf Palm.
