Little Gem is a medium growing small round shaped evergreen tree reaching only 3 feet tall and wide. The dark green scale-like leaves with a slightly bronze winter color, small woody cone. Little Gem Thuja grows well in full-sun or light shade however in heavy shade the form may become open and loose looking. Prefers moist well-drained loamy-soil however Thuja are quite adaptable to most soils and locations. This cultivar shows excellent cold and heat tolerance.
