A conical shaped tree with a more spreading crown with age. Dark green leaves with greenish white underneath, sharp and stiff texture arranged radially around stems. Prefers fertile moist, well-drained soil, full-sun to shade. Best in cool summer climates. 'Meyer's Dwarf' is a small 20 inch mounding verity.
