Creeping Myrtle

A low growing evergreen groundcover with dark green foliage and blue-purple flowers. The flowers bloom in late March and April and sporadically throughout the growing season. Grows best in rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils in partial shade, but is adaptable to range of different soils. Full-sun is not recommend. Will grow to a height of 6 inches and 3 feet across at a medium rate. AKA Myrtle, Creeping Myrtle, Periwinkle, or Vinca. Other cultivars on the market have creamy-white, silvery-white, gold, or yellow variegation of the foliage.
