tomatoes pale and woody inside

Our tomatoes are growing like crazy, but are very pale and woody on the inside. What should we do?
Answer
I have heard of this happing to different large tomato varieties and from what I understand there is nothing that can be done to change the fruit. The pale woody core occurred because of variety and growing conditions. I would recommend growing a different variety next season.
