How long until my plumeria blooms?
Answer
Plumeria bloom year round in their native tropical environments like Hawaii. If you have not been seeing regular blooms during the growing season in other parts of the country your Plumeria may need additional nutrients. Plumeria trees and shrubs should be fertilized twice a month during the growing season with a high phosphorous fertilizer. Water Plumeria regularly keeping the soil moist during the growing season and reduce water during the winter to avoid trunk rot. When growing Plumeria in containers in cooler climates the plants should be brought indoors once the fall temperatures begin to drop.
