Can I feed my Orchids the same plant food that I feed my African Violets?
Answer
Yes, you can however there are formulas more suited for orchids, a common house plant blend at 1/2 the recommended rate would be a more balanced formulation. Additionally african violet fertilizers often have "Urea Nitrogen" as one source of nitrogen which may have a negative effect on the orchid, avoid those that do.
