Styrax japonicus commonly known as the Japanese Snowbell tree. Japanese Snowbell is a beautiful, deciduous, flowering tree native to parts of Asia. The delicate white flowers hang like bells in groups of 3 to 6 just below the foliage along the length of the limbs. The dark green elliptical leaves reliably turn yellow-red in the fall. Plant Styrax japonica in full to partial-sun in a moist well drained location. Great in patio planters or as a specimen focal point of the garden.
