Plum Trees

Ray asks:

Question

Is it o.k. to plant two plum trees (Santa Rosa & Satsuma) in the same hole in the ground and then prune as one tree?

Answer

Yes, it is possible to plant both types of plum trees in the same hole. I'd recommend preparing the planting hole larger and with a good amount of organic/humus material mixed with the native soil for added nutrients.
