Question

When should I cut back my butterfly bushes in spring? I live in Cincinnati, Ohio

Answer

Spring flowering varieties of butterfly bush (Buddleja) should be pruned late spring/early summer after flowering. Late summer and fall blooming varieties should be pruned in the spring.
